Policy for commenters

August 24th, 2009 by Elizabeth Kissling

Comments are open to anyone as long as they don’t traffic in racist, sexist, homophobic, or otherwise overtly objectionable commentary. Differences of opinion are welcome; no one will ever be restricted from commenting on a difference of opinion alone. Threats, trolling, pointless belligerence, and hate speech will be deleted; if they are repeated, the commenter will be banned, and reported to her or his ISP if warranted.*

Those who wish to comment at re: Cycling will need to submit a valid email address. It will not be published or used to send you spam or any other unwanted email.

*Much of this language was adapted – some taken verbatim – from the comments policy at Shakesville.
