This is a feminist text that simultaneously addresses how body image requirements are constructed socially and yet reflects on how these issues exacerbate the negative feelings of some women with PCOS. Through many diverse interviews, multiple experiences of PCOS are revealed. It is always difficult to translate the image to words.
