It’s Still Not Funny

March 2nd, 2010 by Elizabeth Kissling

In the grand tradition of Ms. magazine, we present the latest installment of SNL’s “Classic ESPN Women’s Sports Tournament” with NO COMMENT.

(OK, if you really want to know what we think, see our previous posts about this misogynist series. We’re just too tired to say it again.)

Honestly, I find the ESPN skits to be awesome. Of course I am a man…so I am allowed to find it humorous in my proverbial “book”. This may cause you to accuse me of being an insensitive man who doesn’t understand what it is like to be a woman…which is very true. I definitely don’t know what it is like to be a woman. Of course that leads me to the statement that I am also prepping to start a society for “People who cannot take a joke”. I am hoping that most members of “this society” who apparently have way too much time on their hands, will join up. The statements on this site are laughable at best, sad at worst. Let SNL have their fun and just watch while slowly shaking your head with disgust instead of ranting over and over about it. Or perhaps…just decide to NOT WATCH AT ALL. Whew. Crisis averted.

What’s actually funny is to see how many times it comes back to this. Thanks for reading.
